Shield
Buff and scarlet are the colors traditionally associated with Support organizations. Red is symbolic of vitality and zeal. Gold signifies high ideals, achievement and excellence. The red saltire is adapted from the state flag of Florida; it also denotes strength and support. The crossed keys imply control. The polestar indicates military preparedness in a worldwide theater.
